Gen 2.5 Rear Door Latch Sticking

I've had the thing apart to clean and lubricate it like 3 times, each time trying different grease. Then it gets cold, and it starts sticking. Anyone have a reco for the best grease for it in a cold weather climate?

Mine does this too when it gets cold, I just hit the unlock button a few times, also find that if you squeeze the latch on the far right it helps.

Mine doesn't seem to be power unlocking at all these days (but power lock does work)... I use the key to manually unlock and open

Power lock / unlock works great, it's only when I pull the latch that it sticks open. Wish I could find out what lubricant Mitsu uses for this. They probably still use the same stuff.

I changed out the door lock actuator this last weekend... you might want to pull out the lock mechanism and lube it up. There are a lot of metal on metal points and springs. You also might want to lubricate the plastic piece near the inside handle that shows if the door is locked or unlocked. Mine was what (I think) was causing the door to not be able to power unlock. I pulled it apart and put some lithium grease in there.

After greasing it all up (locking mechanism too) the rear door handle opens with such little friction it almost feels new.
