Gen 2 - Flare Removal

Want to remove the flares from my '97 SR, repaint them, re-install them, all in one day. Any tips here on how to remove them?

I'd like to use new hardware to re-install them, if possible.

Also, I want to replace the rubber/gasket between the flares and the body's sheet metal. Is there a specific gasket that you recommend?

Take out a screwdriver and 10mm socket and get to work, it's mostly common sense really, then take the hardware to your favorite hardware store and match them up.

Does the side cladding come off the same way? Probably all behind the door panels...
