Hello all,
I have had my Gen 3 for 2 years now. I have replaced the the brake accumulator about 5k miles ago. It was making the dreaded chipmunk chirp after braking and was becoming more and more frequent. Due the price I search a used OEM ones on ebay. Fortunately a new O ring and this unit stopped all brake accumulator cycling.
The more I have used 4H (center diff open, awd) I have been noticing the brake pump area or some sort vacuum pump noise when moving from a stop. I don't believe it makes the noise during CDL (4h lock, 4L) modes. Is this regular during AWD operation? I can get a recording when back in the car this evening.
