Gen 3 Timing belt brand & cam seals?

Picked up a 2003 Gen 3 (with the 3.8L engine) last week, it has just shy of 150k miles, so I'm sure the timing belt has been done, but I want to do it just to be sure. I've done the timing belt on my gen 2.5, so I know what I'm in for.

Looking at rock auto, they have several kits available, ranging in price from the low 100s to the lower/mid 200s (DJI part number: TBK161WP at the lower end, and Goodyear GTKWP320H at the high end). I'm sure there is a difference, but there isn't enough info that I can dig up on the DJI kit.

I could also just order everything piece-meal style to be sure I end up with a gates branded belt.

I'm inclined to buy the goodyear kit but through amazon which is only $150

Will also be doing water pump, valve cover seals, spark plugs, should I preventatively replace the cam seals? wasn't sure if mitsubishi had fixed the problem by the time the 3.8L rolled out.

The seller listed it as a 20th anniversary edition, but I'm not sure what makes it a 20th anniversary edition, anyone know? Information online about the differences is very limited, plus I have no owners manual :-(

20th Anniversary has special wheels, rear door air deflector, special floor mats, interior trim plus all the standard Limited items.

I'd buy OEM parts (especially the timing belt & water pump). Other parts to consider replacing: tbelt tensioner, tbelt idler pulleys, crank seal, cam seals, crank position sensor. I wouldn't buy those garbage kits. They are cheap for a reason.

Dealer only as far as I know. Don't skimp. This is an interference engine. On this past Friday the timing belt went out on my '92. Thank god not an interference engine. 34K miles since change, probably wasn't an OEM belt. Receipt from PO only shows belt being replaced, not the tensioner or water pump. This time full monty - including crank seal, cam seals and new harmonic balancer bolt & washer.

I used OEM Mitsubishi from dealership for the belt, water pump, tensioner etc on my 2005.

I bought the dayco kit. 2 years without any issue. Came with everything needed to do the job. The cam seal issue is actually at the back. It's a thrust plate oring that can be replaced at any time in under 20 minutes.

Most of the Mitsubishi OEM timing belts are made by these guys: Gates Unitta Asia Co, and the tensioners are most likely made by Koyo.
