Gen III montero Catalytic converter delete?

Hi everyone! Have any of you deleted the catalytic converter on your 3.8 monteros? I've done a few deletes on other vehicles but none have been as fancy as my monty, so I want to see what you guys have done before I attempt anything. Before anyone asks I live in rural MN and we do not have smog testing here, and yes I know it's still not technically legal. Hahah

I've got a friend running without them and he say's it's got a bit more power but he also did headers at the same time so...

I think you will see very little difference other than a host of check engine lights and potentially poor running conditions. In my opinion removing the cats would be a poor decision with little if any benefit.
