Gen3 Drivers Seat Wear (leather and foam). Any experience fixing?

I recently picked up a 2004 Limited with 135k miles. Everything is in great shape except the drivers seat. If it was just the leather, I'd do some repair on it, but the foam is also degraded. The side leg "hump" is very bad, but the flat part of the seat is also softer on the left side causing me to sit a bit crooked in the seat.

Has anyone had experience replacing the leather and the foam? I don't even know where to start looking.

Check craigslist for a upholster looking for some side cash. Gen 2 manual seat bottoms are the same right and left, so I grabbed a couple of bottoms off a passenger side (typically much less use) from a junk yard and had my guy freshen up both my '92 and '93 with new leather and heat. I have not looked too hard at my Gen 3, but probably the same too.

How did you find your junkyard parts. Monty's seem to be super rare around me.

www.car-part.com. There are a few near me, easy driving distance. I stopped out and grabbed them. Also picked up the right side of a split rear (Gen 2.5) that I am putting in my '92.

That's a run of the mill fix as far as the leather is concerned, probably 50 bucks.

The foam? I don't know. I'd say a clean used seat and an upholstery repair may end up costing about the same.
