Does anyone have one of these racks installed on their JKU? I'm looking for some feedback and close up pictures of mounting points.

Thanks for the info. I did a search and I didn't even see those threads.

Mainline how far out is Gobi right now on a rack?

Ordered a Gobi Stealth from Main Line Overland. Thanks Matt can't wait to get it!

Congratulations - I purchased my Gobi Stealth from Matt as well and it was a very good experience.
Here are a couple of shots that give you a rough idea of the mounting points. The one's behind the rear wheel-well and bumper are hard to get a handle on if you don't have the actual vehicle to look at. Quick tip; I downloaded the installation instructions from the Gobi site prior to my rack arriving which gave me a really good idea of the process before having the box sitting in my driveway and attacking it like I normally would...not reading the instructions and suffering! All in all, a pretty easy installation though.

Thanks for the detailed pictures. The last picture, is that just to make sure the rack stays away from the body during flex?

Congrats on the purchase. I really like my rack.

I think the isolators are to help minimize rack flexing & add rigidity when under a load.

If you're planning on carrying and serious weight it's been suggested to run corner guards instead of just the included strips. I'm running the AEV corners and the people I've talked to that run RTTs on the Gobi have been happy with them too.

EAD posted on JKOwners another new isolator to add even more rigidity. View attachment 116896. I haven't had any noticeable flex while carrying my yaks but maybe those running RTTs can speak to this.

The adjustable foot pads definitely assist in the reduction of flex from the rack. Even with the four pads evenly pressured against the Gobi supplied plates I still notice very slight flex in the whole rack when the RTT is on. I honestly don't think there's any rack built that wouldn't flex with 70kg's bolted on top. I absolutely agree with the fact that AEV corner guards are a great idea with this rack especially so if you'll be using it with heavier loads.

I ran the Gobi plates for a while but they can shift at times. I planned on going with the AEV corners anyway, and it just made for a cleaner functional option. With the Eezi-Awn 1600 on our roof, as well as Goal Zero solar panels we mounted, there is little flex honestly. Even when we are rocking back and forth on the trails in Utah currently the setup is solid.
