Gobi Style Locking Knobs

I have extensively searched the internet for locking knobs similar to those offered by Gobi for Hi-Lifts and Ax and Shovels. The only manufacture supplier that I have found is Elesa which offers a security knob, but it has a blind hole vice a thru hole. I do not want to buy new mounts from Gobi just to get the locks. Any ideas?

Randy- I ran into the same issue so I called Gobi last spring and asked them who their supplier was. Turns out they have them made and Gobi was happy to sell them to me separately. I think I bought ten. The also matched up the locks for me.

Another alternative that I found was Thule. The make similar locking knobs and are sold in a 4 pack as a replacement for bike rack knobs that get lost.

Like rbraddock said, they look exactly like the thule knobs to me. If Gobi will not sell you some try thule.

These are also used in the marine industry for electronics mounts. Durasafe makes a lot of them and you can get them with a 1/4" and 5/16" sizes. I have also seen some with male threads similiar to a bolt.

I use em on my ram mount on my motorcycle as well as to secure my tool tube on the bike.
