The extra snorkel (and the dashboard name badge) was added by the guy who bought and sold the truck from LR and serves no purpose other than to balance up the look of the truck. It's a 300Tdi BTW.

From the other gold 110 i've seen, the second snorkel is attached to the engine.

this vehicle is based on a UK military defender XD (commonly called a "wolf"), these vehicles have twin air intakes (that funny triangle thing on the wings) connected together via a T piece under the bonnet. these give an extra 150mm wading depth, and if one of them gets submerged then the air is sucked through the other one (although a lot of the military vehicles out in the desert have now had a full height snorkel fitted)
