Gone plasma

Well I have been waiting and waiting for the right deal on a good used plasma cutter. Noticed a hypertherm 30 craigs for $950. Not a good deal but turns out the guy was ready to move it since he had only used for a one time job 9 months ago when he bought it. After some haggling we settled on $650 cash pending his documentation and a test. Went over an hour later tested it he showed me his receipts and BAM!!! I finally got a plasma.

Looking forward to getting this in use next week on a few projects for work. maybe I will finally be able to work in some relative peace and quiet.....well except that compressor lol.

Same one I have. Works awesome. Much better than the Blue Point version (from way back) that I had. I run mine off 220 volts since I have the garage wired with that for my big welder.

Congrats!

That's about half of what I paid for my Hypertherm 10 years ago. I don't recall the model - 380 is sticking out in my mind, but that may or may not be it. It's been a great piece of gear, but it isn't used nearly as often as I thought it would be. It is certainly a time-saver when I need it though . . .

Enjoy it . . .

Great deal!!

We use our plasma quite a bit. It's still nice to have the Oxy/Acytelene for the thicker stuff, and for shaping/bending/heating. But for cutting for fab work, hard to beat the plasma.
