Google maps - streetview

Google maps has greatly expanded the coverage of their streetview. It started off focusing on metro areas. Now it covers many highways, and even some lesser roads.

Here for example is Mokee Dugway, Utah 261, with a decent snow covering

I was even able to scroll by my house which is a bit... Orwellian.

The addresses aren't always spot on and are off by a few numbers. There are other ways to narrow down the exact house. If you go on Zabasearch, you can almost "cyberstalk" someone.

Other than that, it's a good way to do orient yourself with an area or location.
