Jeep plans to offer an off-road oriented Grand Cherokee in the 2013 model year. The Trailhawk model will come with air suspension, rocker skid plates and more aggressive tires than the standard GC. If you order the V8, you'll get an electrically locking rear differential, too. Prices start at $42k for the V6. No mention was made of the 3.0L diesel V6, which is expected to appear in Grand Cherokees in 2013.
I'm interested in seeing a comparison between the Trailhawk and the Land Rover LR4. The LR4 costs about $5000 more than the V8 Trailhawk, and on paper looks to be similarly equipped.
