I have an oddball RJ77 landcruiser and wondered how you grease the front swivel balls.

On landies theres usually a grease nipple, on this axle I only find an oil plug

Its probably as per the 80 series....anyone ?

Does it take a thick goopy oil rather than grease ?

(a) Remove the screw plug from each steering knuckle and
repack with lubricant.
Steering knuckle grease:
Molybdenum disulfide lithium base chassis grease
(NLGI No. 2)
(b) Reinstall the 2 screw plugs.

The reason there is no nipple, is that it would be bad to pressurize the knuckle and force grease past the seal and into the axle housing. The plug is just the right size for the tip of the grease gun, but it's impossible to pressurize the housing.
