Great economical 2 inch lift

There is a company called rubitrux that modifies Jeeps that sells take off parts. I have a Jeep JK X. Rubitrux sells the JKU Rubicon springs and shocks for 179.99. I purchased them and installed them and I was surprised to get 2 inches of lift. Then when I took it out for a ride I found that it was perfect even better than original ride.

Another awesome choice too is the teraflex leveling kit with Monroe reflex monotubes. Work great as well.

Yep I looked into the terraflex leveling kit. It turns out that there are different spring rates available for the Jeep JK. I think 19 for the front is the stiffest and 60 for the rear. I received 17 and 59's from rubitrux. The springs I had were 13 and 54. That is the last two digits of the part number. The lift comes from the fact they were actually designed for the 4 door. The shocks are standard Rubicon shocks. I was extremely surprised in the difference between the wrangler x shocks and the Rubicon shocks. The shocks I had on were also 8 years old. For $179.99 the package far exceeded my expectations.

Oh yeah, you did right by upping the rates. with my JKU, I had 18-59s on mine already because of the max tow package. So in order to get a small boost in height, I added the leveling. The Monroe shocks out perform both the black and the red stock shocks by a large margin too. And best part most times you can buy them on the good ole BOGO in most retailers.

Yep, you can probably do a bit better on the forums. a lot of people will let the combo go for 150. All it is, is the stock JKU springs and shocks that were removed for a lift.

I did that to my first JK but I got the springs/shocks from a wranglerforum member for a case of beer...
Needed more lift after that when I added bumpers & winch so I went Teraflex eventually.

I did that to my TJ and got 2.5" rear and 2" front. Rode much better as well. I used a .5" spacer in front to even it out.
