Griffin Adventure Trailer

Hey Guys!

Long story short, we exhibited at Overland Expo East this year and it was a fantastic show! It was such a fantastic show we decided we would go to Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, AZ next May! Just to give you an idea of what sort of obligation that is.. We are located in Smyrna, GA. That means we have a 1,773 mile commute to the expo...one way. THEN you throw a 2-year old into that mix and you have a recipe for adventure OR disaster. Either way we are looking forward to the trek!

NOW that we are committed to the trip we need to add some more space for all of our camping gear. Currently, we will be taking our 2013 F-150 Super Crew but with the booth and merchandise we need more room.

I have always wanted an expedition type trailer so the Craiglist hunt began. We found a used enclosed 4x6 trailer for $700. Come to find out this trailer is a retired Police Radar trailer made by Kustom Accessories back in 2001. Some benefits to this trailer was it's size, axle, and new tires. With some imagining, this trailer's new purpose would come to light.

The first upgrade we did to the trailer was install some Yakima Racks on top of it and hooked up our CVT Mt. Rainer on top.

Stay tuned for more updates!

You'll love Expo West. They are moving to a new site this year I am unfamiliar with but I'm sure its great.

That little trailer looks like it will work well.
