GX460 headlight problem

I rode with my daughter 2 nights ago in her 2010 GX...and it scared the crap out of me. Her headlights were so dim that you literally could not tell any difference if they were on or off. Horrible, probably the worst ever. Surely there has to be a replacement for the OEM light bulbs that will fix this.

If it's THAT bad it's probably not the fault of the bulb, although they are probably old and dim and can certainly be improved. Most likely they just need to be aimed correctly. That means with an optical aiming machine, not a tape measure and a wall. Your Lexus, Mercedes, Porsche dealer will certainly have one. Every dealer and body shop should, but they don't.

If the headlamp lenses are clouded over the entire assembly should be replaced as the internal reflectors are likely degraded as well, even if you can't tell by looking at it. However, that may be thousands of dollars ( but what's her safety worth to you?) In the case of our Cayenne, I had them polished and covered in PPF by our local detailer.

Put these in the halogen low beams or these if they are HID. For a very notable improvement in the high beams, replace the bulbs with these after you modify them like this.

Again, if you don't properly aim them, it'll all be in vain.

For some reason some of my Amazon links are being redirected to Wal-mart.com so here they are.
