I made the same switch a year ago and I'm glad every day. At least for me, the K02s are better in every way. I found them awesome last year in our big ice storm and then the big snow storm. Interestingly I get worse gas mileage with the K02s because they are heavier than my KMs. In the beginning I could feel the added weight when I drove, but not any more. Enjoy!
I just put KO2's on our '14 JGC Overland Diesel. It feels great and a lot more protection off-road on the LT's with much beefier sidewalls. It's my wife's daily driver but she really likes the change too. Will give more support pulling our trailer too.
We swapped the 35"s on our '15 JKUR from BFG MT to BFG ATKO2
The ATKO2 have performed quite well in the snow and packed snow/icy as hell town streets here in Telluride this winter.
I do find myself putting it in 4hi around town on particularly steep and icy town streets, but so far traction has been more than acceptable.
Took a bit to dial in the tire pressure, as the load E tires are noticeably stiffer than the D range MTs.
We will swap the MTs back on for summer.
While not exactly the same I made a switch from MT's to AT's. I have been holding on to MT's for years, even though my off road adventures have developed from a more rock crawling to a more trail riding and dirt road camping kind of thing. I doubt I will return to MT's unless my youngest gets into the more hardcore wheeling that his older brother enjoyed so much. AT's better at literally everything else other than mud and really hairy rocks.
