hand pump

I have a hand pump in the cobalt pop-up and since I have never used one before, I was wondering how the water actually comes out of the faucet? Is it a steady stream when I am operating it or does it kind of spit out? Crazy question I know. All of the fittings are tight for the pumping action but I am just curious. Thanks.

When I had my tent trailer years ago, it was a steady stream.
Should be no spitting unless you have a leak somewhere in the hose and it is letting air in.

Later on I replaced my stock hand pump with a three way 12v one.
Much cooler.
You could hand pump it, use with city water and hose such as in a campground, or 12v.

This is similar to the one I installed.

Product Description
Triple action enables you to use as an electric hand pump, a hand pump, or for city water.

If I remember right, you could just pump it to do it manually, or lift up for city water, or push down all the way to activate the 12 pump.

Corey, thanks for the advice. I do like that 3 way faucet. Im sure the cobalt sat for quite a while without use. Most likely the seals are a bad. Also, the antifreeze they used was in there for a while. It gets acidic after time. We shal disassemble it today after work. Thank you.

Water pump

I fear not. The septer water cans have two outlets. One is for a 3/4" water hose to attach and the second is a screw on cap approx 3 1/2" across. I've tried pressurizing the can to push the water out but the lid was never designed to hold back against any real pressure (>25psi), the lid leaks air decreasing the effectiveness/efficency of this effort.

But I certains like the concept of a powered pump.
