I also have the Garmin GPS60CSX. Googled it for lowest price and bought it through Amazon.

I'll second the Delorme Pn series, It comes with great maps and roads. Garmin you will pay the same then end up paying to get your maps which in my opinion are not as good as delorme.
The older 20 can be found very reasonable in price and even the older topo 7 software is just about as good as the newer topo 8.
Buy what you want but Delorme is actually a better value. you can find them on sale on walmarts website or REI to name a couple. The 40 has more power aka faster refresh than the 20., The only drawback is battery life and a replacement larger battery can be had through a guy on e-bay and the only mode is a little battery lid trimming.
I have loaded 800+ caches on my 20 for a road trip and the processor did just fine with a major load onboard. I cache with a friend who has the 60 and we both end up at the same cache, accuracy on both is very good.

Ive had both, and prefer the Garmin over the Delorme.

The Delormes map software, if you buy the subscription, is very nice. VERY nice. But its above what the average user really needs. The interface with the Delorme is a bit more challenging then the Garmin.

If youre looking for an easy to use, GPS packed with features, the Garmin is the ticket. If you want to get more involved with your GPS, the Delorme is the way to go.

I see that the 60CSx does turn by turn directions. Does it yell out the commands or does it just come up on display only?

EDIT: Ok, looks like the 60 will just "beep" and display a text instead of the actual voice prompts.
