Yeah, end weights are probably a better option than sand as it puts the weight where it needs to dampen the vibration. It's a big single though, it's not ever not going to vibrate some. :roost:

An aftermarket top triple with rubber mount bar clamp if available? Different grips can help as well, I like Pro Grip 714 grips for comfort type situations.

Tune up?

I have a 2012 XR650L, mine doesn't vibrate bad enough to cause discomfort and would say on a scale of 1-10, its a comfortable 5.

Is it jetted right? Running offroad tires on long stretches of pavement? Wheels out of balance? I haven't heard much talk of XR650L being paint shakers like the KTM 640's are.

Has this "vibration" changed or is it the same it has always been on this specific MC?

IF this is something that has just happened...have you mounted something (GPS) to the bars? Also check your steering, wheels, etc for problems/issues.

IF "always like this"...you will likely find that all the suggestions about bar weights, elastic mounts, better grips and even gel padded gloves are spot on...and a combination of these will give you some relief.

Thumpers...named that for a reason...perhaps "buzzers" would be a better term!

And your english is fine...I love Quebec - me trying to speak french....thats entertainment!
