Hi guys. I need to get some tires for my 04 GC. I am looking at 5x 245/70/17. They will be used on road 90/10. We do camp on weekends and so hit the track a little more with some proper rubber underneath and also head on the beach this summer. Just wondering if anyone is running these and their experiences.

Im in the same boat as you with looking for tires. I will also be using my truck for the same things as you, little camping, little beach driving, little snow, but i also want an aggressive look. So I started a thread a while back to find out everyones experience's with what they run and like while keeping $$$ in mind, as I dont want to spend a fortune on tires. I have never run Hankooks before but by reading everyones feedback they will be what I get when it comes time to buy tires.

I have the Hankook ATM's in 235/75r16 on my KK and like them. Excellent dry and wet traction, wearing well, excellent in the snow and handle all of the light off-roading I do. Slightly loud (for an AT) as they wear but not too bad. I got them really cheap with a rebate from Discount Tire direct.
I have 245/70r17 Cooper AT3's on my WK and like them a lot too. They are quieter but not as aggressive looking. Very good on the beach and in the snow. Pretty similar tires.
If I were getting new tires for either Jeep I'd look at the new Nitto Terra Grappler G2's as well.
