I am trying to whittle down the choices of roof racks. I know that I will be mounting a Hannibal Awning. Probably, the 7’ version. Does anyone know that height of the mounting bracket on the Hannibal Awnings? Even Hannibal has different rack heights. I have seen racks from 160 to 185mm.
Also, has anyone ever sewn up a little cover that would go over the arms, rolled-up canvas, and the brackets when everything is stowed? I am thinking that some little cover is in order to keep the relentless Sun, Rain, Dust, and potentially Snow off of it while it is not in use but still on the rack.
