Has anyone tried a semi sleeper

thanks for the link - looks like he actually did it at least twice! The on a trailer would be (relatively) easy.

Wonder though about building a camper out of just it. It would at least be a start - especially w/ a fiberglass one. Just thinking out loud, my wife usually yells at me for that..
 
I'd kinda dismissed the thought of putting it sideways and the width is otherwise an issue - but if it's a flattop it doesn't matter that it's sideways.

with 37 x 12.5" tires, sunk 10" into fabbed wheel wells it'd be narrower than the stock 76" of my truck, height wise my truck is 74" stock, so it's probably 82-83" now. It'd be a little taller than the truck, guess I could drop that down by running it on 33's rather than 37's, but it's so nice to match... just playing....
