So, let me preface this by saying the ONLY reason I am selling this is because there is one motorcycle in the world i would want more than this- a Ural Gear Up- and my wife finally got sick of me talking about it and gave me the go ahead to get it. The caveat is I have to part with my current baby, a 2011 Royal Enfield Military. This is really hard to do.
Anyways, here are the details:
2011 Royal Enfield C5 Military- 1700 miles
Low mileage is due to 2 military deployments. Most miles have been put on this summer! Bike was started and ridden at least once a month on my deployments to keep the seals, gas, and bearings moving. Oil was changed at 300 miles and 1500 miles with Mobil One Motorcycle Synthetic. New Spark NGK spark plug. Have put techron through every 3rd gas fill up.
Extras:
D+D Exhaust
Black Ceramic Coated Exhaust. Sounds amazing and is not too loud. Super stout and a vast improvement over the original.
Engine Sump Guard
Alloy Sump Guard from Hitchcock Motorcycles England. Protects the motor without blocking access to oil drain plug.
7" Headlight and Visor
Looks and shines loads better than the original 5 3/4".
Trials Tires
Shinko 241 Tires have really added to the look of the bike. They are larger than stock tires and they ride awesome even in the rain.
Pillon Seat
OEM pillon seat, carry another passenger and some Luggage!
New AGM battery
Blinkers
Large chrome blinkers on stalks i though never fit the bike so i installed a much more streamline solution that fits the bikes looks/styling much better.
Front blinkers are now in the pilot lights, ordered OEM amber bulbs from india and put some bright LEDs in there. Looks Stock:
Rear Blinkers are now flush mount LEDs which match the OEM taillight and fit the bike much, much better than the giant chrome that was on there previously. They are bright and easily seen.
Those are the additions, other random tidbits.
-Bikes paint (every square inch) has been cleaned and sealed with Dr Beasleys Matte paint sealer and matte paint cleaner- the only matte paint sealer i know that exists- this stuff is expensive and works well!
-Bike was broken in properly per Royal Enfield Collective Knowledge- not taken past 50 for first 500 miles, engine never loaded, etc. Broken in now and is able to cruise through full range of throttle.
-The bike has its own toolkit and i will include extras including tubes, factory service manuals and whatever else i have for it!
-This bike is all metal, no plastic. Good luck finding a modern bike with that.
-This bike is fuel injected and gets 60-70mpg.
-I hope you like talking to people, because there is not a day that goes by when i ride this that someone doesnt want to stop and talk about it or take pictures with it.
-Long story short, this bike is amazing, and im not happy to be parting with it, i might be happier when my Ural shows up but right now it sucks. I hope somebody else can enjoy this, preferably not in my same city so i dont have to look at it!
I have taken care of this bike in every way shape and form over the last 2 years, so you are getting a like new (seriously) bike when you pick this up.
Feel free to ask any questions, i will work with anyone on delivery as well.
Asking $5000. Firm.
