Having fun driving south on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Ya, not so much an dirt Overland, yet still off the main path and scenic! There's a few vid's before this and will e a few more to follow. Including our trek back north and using the MABDR as our guide.

Part of the drive south for us. This is part 2 and I'll say right now... We liked Blue Ridge much better than Skyline Drive! I know you'll still do both, and probably should, yet if time is an issue... Blue Ridge for sure!

Awesome trip! I completed the Mid-Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route a year or so ago and it is an absolutely beautiful route. The scenery changes so much and after driving it you would swear virtually no one lives east of the Mississippi, lol. I am not sure what you have for navigation but it can be a tough route to follow unless you have the digital waypoints - there just are not that many street signs in the forest and so much of the trail is ten or more miles from even the smallest of towns.

Make sure to take lots of video and happy trails!

LOL! Even with Gaia and the route marked out... it's no easy to follow at times! We did as much of it I wished to mainly due to being solo and so far from home. This is the 1st video of starting on the MABDR. Starts about 4 minutes in..
