I bought these for my Jeep a couple years ago and then went a different route.
The boxes HAVE been [span style='font-style: italic;']OPENED[/span] and some of the lights have been mounted on my light bar. 1 of the boxes is duct-taped up but the lights are still in new condition.
When I purchased these I noticed some of the WHITE Protective stone shields showed some signs of wear from rubbing the packing. But it didn't matter account I bought them for their lights, not their shields. The lenses are perfect.

I believe the free-form 500ff's use the reflector's shape to crate the pattern while the regular 500's use a fluted lens. The 500FFs have a clear lens.
