Thanks EVERYONE! My apologies for not responding earlier... Been a crazy week, - hit the lake all day Saturday, then went wheeling at BVORR on Sunday... plus I'm a volunteer for Tomball/Conroe chapter of TX4WD. @Soonenough... Yes, when I saw your Taco, I figured I'd cross your path somewhere here online... Nice rig. @WillRunner... Nice looking 4th gen, and nice meeting another 4Runner guy... Not to many of us around these parts. I saw several comments about S. Padre as well as Big Bend... Just FYI, I already have a run on the books for July 26th... A weekend run on PINS. So far, about 10 are going. I'm also tentatively planning a 4-5 day trip to Big Bend... Maybe Thanksgiving. I'll post more about these and some other trips on this forum, but by all means, feel free to reach out to me on FB and/or TX4WD forum or chapter (Tomball/Conroe)FB page as well. Question... Do we here in the area have any type of regular meetup through ExPo?

There are indeed. I'm Vice-President of Tomball/Conroe Chapter... we have a meet-and-greet every 4th Friday of the month. Katy, Houston, and Sugar Land meet on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Friday's respectively. Furthermore, across all the area's chapters, seems there is some type of run every week or so.

I'm in NW Houston. The wife and I are making the South Padre trip in July with the Tacoma World group. We spent a week in May in Padre island national seashore. Fall sounds good for Big Bend. A meet up would be cool.

Me and my gf just went to Big Bend 3 weeks ago. It was one amazing experience!

Hey keep me in the loop for big bend as well! I haven't been since I was a Boy Scout. I'd like to go as long as it's early fall and not late fall, we are expecting our first in November.

Seems South Padre might be a long drive for me. But if I was off that weekend, I could look into it. Is there any group going to Padre Island in Corpus Christi? If it is a weekend I am off, I would gladly like to join.

I would def love to go down to Big Bend. Ive been wanting to do that for a while.

I live in Cypress. Not difficult to find my truck at all.

This is me (well, the back) Ill get more pictures later. Too much going on. Im really easy to spot. I think Im the only Tacoma in Cypress with a snorkel. If not look for the huge whip antenna on the driver side.
