Hellwig Bigwig Sway bar on 21 Ram 3500 Hemi

Anyone put a Bigwig swaybar on a newer Ram HD?
Hellwig only specs out swaybars for the Diesels. The gas truck have a exhaust resonator close to the end of the tailpipe, right where the passenger side part of the swaybar goes.
Most vendors just specify 14-22 Ram 3500(no mention of engine). From every piece of info I can find- the rear axles are the same on gas and diesel trucks(AAM 11.5) unless you get max tow which gets you the AAM 12

Anyway- I cut the resonator off my 21 Ram 3500 Longbed CC 4x4 6.4l and installed Hellwig 7298 Bigwig sway bar.

The U-bolts that go around the axles seem too short, you are supposed to be able to get 4 nuts(2 on each leg) on each u-bolt . I could barely get the jamb nut on each leg.

I’m working with Hellwig, their support is very responsive, but they keep mentioning the issue may be because I have a Hemi.

So- anyone put one on a new 3500? Anyone with a Diesel want to measure their rear axle tubes? Mine are 4.25 OD

Pics of my brand new exhaust mod (5k on truck)

I have read many reviews of parts mix ups in Hellwig boxes, but all say Hellwig made good on it immediately, but I need to eliminate me being the issue :)

Thx
Keith

I got the piece to extend it out. It’s still behind the rear axle on a long bed,not thinking it’s going to be a problem if I left it, it just looks half baked.

It's great they're working with you to work something out. You did buy a part that wasn't for your truck initially though so that makes it more difficult from the outset. I feel your pain though; I just bought a Silverado 1500 diesel and most all the parts like skid plates or bumpers I find are for 2500/3500 or not diesel models. There's definitely a place in the market that doesn't exist.

The end result was they had no answer why the u-bolts weren’t long enough, they are sending lock nuts to replace the one on each leg actually doing the work.
I’m good with the end result , still doesn’t make sense tho, same axle, same frame between gas and diesel
