Help importing GPS coordinates into MapSource

Hi all,

I'm using MapSource 6.14.1 and I can't seem to find out where to import GPS coordinates. I've go an excel file: http://www.flyingj.com/flyingjPorta...=true&_pageLabel=flyingjPortal_portal_page_17 that I would like to upload into my 276c.

I must be an idiot but I don't see an "import" option under the file menu. Can someone school me please?

I'm also having a problem when trying to overwrite all my maps (256MB card) where-in the system goes through all the transfers and crashes at the end and says it cannot communicate. Any ideas?

Thanks!

, J

I had problems with 6.14.1 and I know a lot of other people did to. Everyone switched back to the previous update.

You're not an idiot, something is wrong with that Mapsource update.

I am also running version 6.14.1 and have no issues so far, actually I kind of like this new version even though it seems a little slow when redrawing maps at the highest resolution.

I just wanted to add that you might find a program like G7toWin usefull when manipulating, sorting and importing waypoints.

On another note for those of you that have the the Back Country Adventures or California Trails books, you can download the waypoints here
