Hi 18 Seeds, I'm stoked about your build since mine is pretty much done for now. After my school of hard knocks and experience with pop ups, I'd like to add a little food for thought:
1. 30 gal fresh water supply- or more
2. hot water- Aways nice for those thins like keeping clean and doing dishes. Electronic Ignition is nice.
3. 2 6v batteries- More importantly how many amp hours and are they AGM, stored inside, vented?
4. cassette toilet- Best expedition camper add, make sure the top pivots for long legs.
5. 5 - 10 gal grey- Try this, it works:
6. outside shower- A must and skip the inside shower completely. It's a waste of room and will never be used, at by us.
7. larger entry door- nice option and get a screen door.
8. exterior storage for honda 2000 generator- 1000 watt is good unless you are running a roof top ac. Consider a propane conversion.
9. 5 lb propane tank- Too Small! picture yourself climbing out of the camper at 20 below to change tanks in the middle of the night...
10. 5 lb propane tank holder on the rear of the camper (extra propane for winter)- as above
11. Ducted Heating- Not much to duct in a TC, maybe 6"?
12. Winter Package: Insulation to put around pop up material on the inside- OMG, soft sided campers are cold at 20 below!
13. Fantastic Fan- Great units, but you may consider a few ICP solar fans as they rock and draw no power. They should be sponsoring me...
14. wave 3 catalytic heater- Yes, and plumb it in.
Enjoy your build!
