Help needed to repair a used Flippac!

Hi everyone! I recently purchased a used flippac after looking for a few years for one. It's not in the greatest of shape, but I got it for a great price and am intending of finding someone who can repair it. Seeing as it may be difficult to find someone (in Canada) that would even take on the project, I though I would ask here if anyone has any ideas or advice? The body of the flippac is in decent shape, and the tent, though old and weathered, is good enough. The problem is on the drivers side hinge. The hinge itself, and torsion bar, appear to be fine, but the tube inside that runs the length on the top had rusted badly, and bent down. This has also caused the fiberglass on the bottom lip of the top to start peeling away. I have someone who should be able to repair the fiberglass work, but neither of us are familiar with the hollow metal tube or support mechanism for the flippac.

Any help/stories/advice/pictures would help! I am dying to get this thing up and running!

Thanks!
