Hi all, I'm done w the breakin on the prorock 60 rear and PR 44 u front axles and need to swap out the fluid. I'm having a real hard time finding any info regarding replacement amounts. Stock axles just fill till it comes out the hole, but there are multiple plugs on these. Anyone know for sure a rear d60 PR AND 44 PR amounts?

Allright.. I've read that 4.5 Quarts of your favorite brand of fluid is what's needed in the 60's and slightly less the 4.0 quarts in the 44's. This was researched via the Ford, Dodge and Cummins Diesel forums. Also.. it's prob best to register with a true Jeep Forum and post your question there.. Not very many here actually make these kinds of extreme mods to their Overlanders, Unless they are showing off past and future builds. I might even suggest that you post this in the open discussions to allow other D60/D44 used to comment, and according to your Facebook page.. you seem very capable of doing the right thing.

Thanks Angry, I did look quickly for a "tech" section, but this is always my go to site for this build. I have a call into dynatrac now...waiting tll they open for clarification.

If you have the Dynatrac diff cover I think you take both front fill screws out and put fluid in the big hole until it starts to spill out of the lower one. At least that is what I recall the Dynatrac diff cover's method was.

Pretty close with that. The newer iterations of the ProRocks (in case anyone has similar questions and finds this thread) have two holes in the front cover, one large up high for fill, as GP'd points out, and one lower Allen bolt head plug to determine when "full". In addition, there is another small plug up on top of the pumpkin that you can (and should) "top off" with a bit more fluid...there's a small reservoir up high there for lubing the upper portion of R&P...also aids in getting your lockers juiced. Covers must come off to drain/inspect. Prorock 44 reg or unlimited with locker takes about 2 qts....maybe a tad over, and the Prorock 60's with locker take between 3-4 qts. Mine took exactly 3.5 after top off....
Thanks to those who posted responses...
