Help with Issues With JW Speaker 8700 Evolution J Headlamps

Hello all!

Pinging the forum for some help...

I recently installed a set of the JW Speaker 8700 Evolution J headlamps on my 08 JK in Sept of this year. On our annual beer expedition to Vermont this weekend, the passenger side malfunctioned, and the low beams became inoperational. The half halo flickers, but no light. The high beams do function properly. See below pics:

Thanks for any help!

Probably sounds a bit simpleton, but if it was mine, I'd check the connection of the headlights. I'd also look for anything out of the ordinary (frayed wires, for example). And finally, I'd plug in an OEM headlight on each side and see if it works (will help narrow your problem down to headlight or wiring).

Everything looks good to go with wiring and connections, and will try the OEM headlamp when I get home.

Thanks for your help.

Is anyone else running these head lamps having any issues with them?

I've heard nothing but good things about JW Speaker headlights, although I'm running Recon lights. If the OEM light works, then I'm betting JW Speaker would come through with a replacement given their reputation.

You could check the fuse, but my guess is if the fuse is bad, you'd be getting no light at all, so that's not the likely culprit.
