Help-ZJ front end vibration

Hey guys I'm looking for some help on my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm got at low speeds a "noise" in the front end. Then when I'm at higher speeds there is a hum along with a shimmy in the steering wheel. I figured it was a hub/wheel bearing assembly. So this weekend I swapped out the p-side for a new one. Took it for a test drive and still have the same noise. Had Costco re-balance my tires, but that didn't help either??

Any Ideas??

Have you checked the u-joints, either at the hub or the driveshaft. They can tend to those types of noise/feel but can be hard to track down. Driveshaft one is easy, remove it and see if it goes away.

I played around with them a bit. All three have rubber boots covering them (CV style?) But didn't seem like there was any slop there. In fact front drive shaft was very solid.

How many miles on everything? I remember an old boss of mine had an issue with his GC that the pinion bearing was going out making a humming sound.

Didn''t know the ZJ had CV setup, unlike the XJ's.
