a rest stop outside of fort stockton for about an hour then another one on the other side of El Paso for about 1.5hr

joe is chill'n at my house right now relaxing till the meet & greet tonight...hope to see a bunch of you there

Tonight 6/10 Tues (he is only 4 hrs from Phx as I write)
The meet & greet with the Long Lost Adventure Trailer will be at Eldorado Park @ 6:30 till ??? (but remember Joe needs to get home tonight)....near the pond & skate area north of Mcdowell, east of Miller....take the first righthand entrance into the park, there will be a sign & balloons...then look for an couple of shade awnings and such....
these are the rough gps numbers I will post back with exact numbers shortly....

One more day..

Sorry for the delay in getting online. The sleep deprevation and business calls dictated my last few days. THe trailer returns tomorrow to AT in Upland, CA. I'd like to shout out a big THANK-YOU to 1speed, Roundout, BN-Guy, JCBrandon, 1LegLance, ElCoyote, Martyn, ExpeditionsWest, My wife, my son, Redbull, Caffine in general and of course my Toyota dealer... enter the iron butt award here...

Thanks for all of your help, confidence, and encouragment! This was a fast trip 5,070 total miles from my house to 1speeds and back in 5 days. Tomorrow it returns to AT (which I've been to a few times over the years).. So the SPOT will be on tomorrow for it's final voyage. Back to my buddy Burl40..

For those of you that donated to DE (DisabledExplorers) thanks! Every little bit helps... Sorry I couldn't make it to Dallas, Albuquerque or Denver.. But since I'm responsible for the justification of AT's gas Milage I tried to keep it in line with the direction of the trailer.. (I would've loved to have seen more expo members but time restraints and cost benefit still weighed heavily on my decisions... here's a few parting pics.. I'll upload the AT meet and greet sometime over the weekend...

Home At Last!

Joe, Mandy & Drew showed up yesterday eve around 5'ish bringing home Scottys' Chaser trailer after it's long odyssey: AWOL for 32 days.

What a sigh of relief for us here at AT. Our hats go off to Joe who came forward to help us out and help turn this negative event into a positive for the Disabled Explorers cause. A testament to the collective conscience of ExPo members.

We celebrated by hoisting some pints and dining at our local favorite spot, appropriately named "Heroes".

Thanks to all on Portal who were vigilant, gave us leads and assistance. We are humbled by your generosity...
