Can I get an opinion on hi lift jacking a tacoma from a reciever hitched mounted through my front bumper( such as cbioffroad).
Im not going to be doing it often and dont see any reason for the rock sliders if im not in that element.
I know its not optimal to jack there but is it going to ruin the integrity of my chasis?

Thanks Nelson:costumed-smiley-007

:sombrero:I'm not familiar with the layout of the Tacoma front bumper and each side of the forward left/right frame--BUT

On my jeep, even though I have a forward 2" hitch--When I have to use my HiLift, I doit at the point of intrusion of either side forward frame-and that will raise whichever side (front wheel) that I'm interested in-

Normally I just put the hilift under the slider, either side to either raise the whole side of the jeep, or to rotate tires-

Now don't assume that I always use the HiLift for tire work, I have several different other methods, but you were talking of HiLifts-

It will be ok.. I have done it, but I mainly use my sliders to lift it up.
But I would not use my hi-lift to change tires.
The only reason to use you hi-lift for tire changes is if you use a jack stand.

thank you

Thanks for the replies folks!!
Spoke to a buddy and I realized that my biggest obstacle would be jacking in an of camber situation (no work)...still a consideration though...
