The rally yesterday was bloody AWESOME!!! i love working at them. as a ham operator i get to sit right on the side of the track, and hear all of the action over the radio. im going to try to work the desert storm rally also, down near blythe.
i didnt get as many chances to get pictures and video as i would have liked, but heres the one video and the pictures that i was able to get. working the radio and logging the cars going by just turned into too much of a hassle when trying to get pictures also.

for anyone who is interested in working at a rally, you can get sign up and get info at www.rallydata.com. all of the comms are done by hams, but they will occasionally have a few FRS / GMRS radios on the teams, along with sweep, timing, spectator liasion, EMT, and others. its a lot of fun to do.
