Highway 395 and the southern CA FWC Rally

Very nice trip Bill. I love tripping down 395. I didn't those clouds were called the Sierra wave. We were camped at Papoose Flats in May this year and had the wave park right on the edge of the sun the whole day just up until Sunset. Then it got spectacular. A cloud formed by the wind looked like Fire breathing dragon. It was awesome. You can see it in the movie loaded on YouTube in the link below.

Thanks, Bill. Jalama is truly a special place.
I also know the Mt. Hamilton road...several times as a motorcycle passenger (as a child with my dad holding on for dear life) and a "sports" car driver at the helm (a bit later in life).
I never thought to compare the two...maybe I need to drive them again...yes I think so!
