Hit a deer, elk or moose?

I've got bad luck with animals... In the last 6 years here is my list

1. 4 deer - all with my old 94 Izuzu Trooper.

2. 1 turkey vulture - shattered my windshield on the 94 Trooper. Was on my way to the airport and didn't have time to clean. You should have seen the face of the lady at the parking garage.

3. 1 coyote - clipped it riding my Honda Sabre 1100cc motorcycle. Managed to not dump the bike. The coyote bounced over the guard rail and never broke stride.

4. 1 small dog - also on the motorcycle. Kept the bike up, killed the dog, felt bad for weeks.

5. a small flock of guinea hens - no vehicle damage

6. stopped counting the squirrels

I unfortunately have seem multiple animal/car accidents. I work as a Deputy Sheriff in the up in Summit County (Park City/Deer Valley).

Moose always win. (go figure). Just last week I was heading to a truck vs. Moose on I-80. As I was arriving, a little gal in a Toyota Corolla hit the moose laying in the road and went up on two wheels for about 500 feet. It was kinda cool (like in a Dukes of Hazzard sorta way :) ) and then she landed. She got out, ran up to me, and yelled, "what the hell was that!!". :yikes:

I had a emo-deer attempt suicide on my patrol vehicle (Ford Expedition), his rear-end left a nice dent in my door.

Aside from that, I actually took a report of a man that hit a deer, he was equipped with an ARB on his new Ford F350. It didn't do a thing to it.
Glad I have one on my Cruiser.
