Holder for garmin gps

I have a garmin street pilot and the holder is not sticking to the window very well and can't tighten it down so it tends to droop. I was wondering if any one knew the best place to get a new holder.:ylsmoke:

I've had good luck with Ram Mounts at www.expressmounts.com.

I use a direct mount in my Jeep Wrangler (bolted in). In my car and Xterra, I use the locking suction cup (has rotating lever).

This code worked for me last week for 10% off (RAMEM9HP62).

Thank you, I checked out that site and it looks like it has what I need. The only thing that I didn't see was does it come with a power cord? Not a bad price a little over 30 dollars.

RAM Mounts makes a great selection of mounts, but you'll have to be more specific. Garmin makes maybe a dozen Streetpilots. Which model do you have?

I'm also a strong supporter (pun possibly intended) of RAM mounts. I was very reluctant to move to a RAM suction cup mount, but I have had nothing but success with it. It's rock solid, reliable and has never came unexpectedly in years of service.

I have used both RAM suction cups and prefer the locking suction cup. They're cheap enough to where you can buy both and interchange them.

The locking cup has a smaller diameter and is a bit easier to remove. Though I usually don't leave attached to a hot window, I'm not sure what the long term effects of heat are on the suction cups.

I have found that temperature changes and a dirty interior windshield will cause the seal to break. Also keeping the surface of the mount clean helps, too. A little moisture helps keep it stuck, slobber works.

And yes, the Ram Mounts don't come with power cords but should be compatible.
