The long weekend came!!! That means only 1 thing, offroadwa group trip!!
We headed down the holland track, about 250km offroad through twisty, dusty, corrugated track.
Due to the very dry weather we have had the track had a ton of dust, and with 9 vehicles in convoy we spent most of the
trip hidden in dust or so far back you couldnt see the other people. But the good news was that everyone made it, we had a
few issues here and there, but nothing that meant people were getting towed out.
We started on friday afternoon, a quick pack up and bleed the brakes the pajero, which is now running slotted rotors and
gen 2 calipers. then it was off to Cades house to meet up with the rest of the crew.
Before we knew it we where hurtling along the highway on our way to the nights first campsite about 30kms from hyden, the
start of our trek.
Setting up camp:
why no other photos of camp? moonshine... haha
Early rise the next day with some frost going on.
But that soon dissapeared and we were making a mile to hyden for a final fuel before heading out
Speed limit on this road: 110km/h, not bad hey?
We arrived at the start of the track and began airing down, 9 cars in total, even had an F250 show up. dwarfs the pajero..
haha
Let the dust consumption begine.
The first section is about 30ish km then you have to cross a road to continue along the track, a bit of fun was had.

Dan attempts to bag a Canadian..
After crossing the road we stopped for a bite to eat and to make a trip up to the top of Mt. Holland.

Before we knew it the trail was starting to close in a bit making it a bit more intersting.
