Homemade awning, carawagon style!

I wanted a rear awning for my modified '59 series 2 109 3 door. One that I can open and close in less than a minute and did not hang out the sides.
All parts bought from homeydepot including the roof rack (except for the custom tarp New World Manufacturing)
I really like the Carawagon concept except for one detail: you have to drill massive holes in the roof, plus the pipes are now inside the vehicle taking up precious space. Those factors made it a no go for me. But having a basic self supporting awning seems like a good idea to me.
I have mesh tarps which I can hang on the sides with clips for wind/rain blocking
Please tell me what you think!
Thank you
WTH??? why are my pictures upside down???

Looks awesome!
Where did you get the rear sliding windows?

Thx!
The windows i got online a few years ago. Dont remember the company. I do remember that i simply searched online and found a company that makes custom windows. I sent them a template of the cutout. Maybe 50$ each?
