Homemade grill setup

Just wanted to show off my new toy. I built it a little while ago but I didn't get the chance to break it in till this weekend. I got the idea from my wife, and inspiration from a grill at Cabela's. It's not built for backpacking but it's not too heavy.

That's AWESOME!!!

One of my buddies has a similar one that he got an old-school blacksmith to make for
him. I absolutely love cooking with it. I wanted to kick his butt because he didn't get
one for me!

With his, you just drive the solid iron stake into the ground, and the cooking surface just
uses gravity / weight / leverage to stay in place.

Great job on yours, though!

Thanks. I thought I would need the set screw, but as you said leverage keeps things in place. I really only use them for peace of mind.
