How loud is an ARB High Output?

I am looking at mounting my ARB compressor in the back of our TLC HJ61 in behind the side panel. Can anybody tell me if the unit will be too loud and annoying to install inside the cab? I would mount it under the hood but there doesn't appear to be any options under there with all the turbo diesel and AC stuff. :sombrero:

I have one in the back of my Jeep Cherokee behind the plastic.

You can hear it for sure. Is it too loud? No....

It would be annoying if it ran constantly, but it doesn't.

Depends I guess on what you are using it for. I just have an air locker so it runs for about 15 seconds at most.

Thanks, that is just the sort of answer I was looking for. I figure if I am inflating tires I won't be in the truck anyway.

Yep. I also have the Cherokee plumbed front and rear to inflate tires. And your right, if you're not in the truck you won't mind it.
