Which regulator?

Yeah, I have the empty weight: 18.4 lbs (w/regulator attached).
Today it weighs 25.1 lb. So I have about 7 lbs still in the tank.
That should be fine for this weekends trip, but I'll have to try to track it a bit more closely.
I don't know if ambient temperature affects anything either...any thoughts?

Do you have the adjustable reg or fixed for the weight you mentioned? Mine is fixed (150psi I think) and I neglected to weigh it before the first fill. BTW, anyone know of a refill place in the Phx area (as far NE valley as possible would be ideal - i.e. Scottsdale Airpark area). Thanks.

How to prevent regulator freezover?

So, if you don't let your regulator freeze, or it's hot out, you'll get more gas out of a given tank size than if you let all the liquid run out.

What is the trick to keeping the reg from icing over and/or freezing?

Mine is the variable regulator...
I don't think you can avoid the ice completely. Pausing between tires may allow it to warm up I suppose. When the humidity is up it will likely ice up faster...or so it seems to me.

Torch :campfire:

One of those little Bernz-o-matic plumbing torches works well. I only do that when it's too cold to just put the tank in the sun while I'm airing up.
Also, this is only a problem for me when I'm airing up big tires. The little ones on the Taco don't take long enough to allow the reg. to freeze.
