how to make your rear seats into a bed

That's pretty cool. My 2.5 doesn't have the middle bench though. Has anyone with a 2.5 tried this? I might put my 3rd row back in if it works.

Huh, Ive never tried this, looks awesome though, maybe stick a small air mattress on top of that.

pretty cool, but defiantly needs some sort of a mat on top. Dont see it being all that comfortable. Still cool.

I came across it today when looking up something else about the Montero, kind of gives some new ideas on not building a sleeping platform.

In my 3rd Gen, I can lay the front seats and the 2nd row bench flat for a similar effect, but it's not very comfortable. Never tried getting the 3rd row seat involved.
 
This info is in the owners manual, I was able to lay the seats down on my gen 2.5 but it was not too comfy because I am too tall at 6'8".

The factory manual for my 03 says how to do this with the front seat headrests removed and fully reclined along with the second row fully reclined
