How to mount a ZJ roof rack?

Ok so I modified a wilderness roof rack a few months ago to fit ontop of my Early Bronco. Well I sold the bronco and now want to mount the same rack atop of my Grand Cherokee. Unlike the xj there are no rain gutters. I do have the factory roof rack. Does anyone have any ideas on how to mount brackets onto that existing rail?

Thanks

The easiest thing to do would be to buy some Yakima or Thule mounts and cross bars and mount the rack to them. However, that option is going to cost you a few dollars to buy mounts and bars.

My Jeep actually already came with Yamima bars that mount to the rails...But they sit way to high. I want a lower profile look. The tower does come apart and I think I could modify it to work but i've only got 2 per side. Would like to double that number to space out a load.

Do you have pics? I have Yakima control towers and landing pads on my XJ. They mount directly in the factory rails. With those, the cross bars don't sit any higher than the factory cross bars do.
