How's water gettin in?

In my 05 Tj after it rains hard I'll see a small line of water running from under the dash into the passenger floorboard. I wouldn't notice it if I had carpet but since I don't I see it. Where's it comming from? The vent on the hood? Anyone else have this happen? It's not alot of water at all just enough to see the trail.

Mine does that too. I had heard there was a TSB out on the problem but I can't seem to find it. My wifes 97 would get a huge amount of water in it when it rained.

That's interesting. I've never tried to trace the water back up. It rained hard today so I'll go see if I can find it. If it leaked

Me too, 98 TJ always has a puddle of water on the passenger side floor after it rains. Dont know where it is coming from either.

I had the same thing happen on our '97 TJ. The tube from the cowl vent to the blower intake was plugged bad. I just removed it now it dosent leak.
Be careful there was enough crap that got pushed into the blower and it cought fire above the passanger side floor. This hapened a few weeks ago and I have not had time to pull it all apart. When I do I can let you know exactly what happened

I've heard a lot of different things about this leak issue. I know there was a thread on another forum, at www.midsouthjeeps.com about the same issue awhile back, I see your from TN so there is probably someone nearby that can assist you I'm sure, that is if you aren't already a member of that forum. check the windshield seal...
that's were water comes in a lot!
