Hows your Yokohama Geolandar I/T GO72?

I saw these tires are pretty cheap compared to most and I was just wondering what you guys think about them? I know they are a winter tire but I just like the tread pattern.

I do more on road driving than off road but when I do go off roading it's usually down muddy dirt roads. So this seems like a good tire.

Just some questions I have about them.
-Weight of a 275/70/16 type
-Tread life expectancy
-Are they considered an all terrain

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I currently run 3 sets of these for the winter. 00 Xterra, 00 Frontier and just got a set for 12 Xterra. They are a winter tire and still wear great even on dry warm pavement as our weather can be above 0°C at any time during the winter :). Easy to balance with few weights. The Xterra is going into 5th winter on the Yoko`s.

Never had them in mud but they do good in deep snow. I think they`re more of a snow tire rather than ice tire judging by the chunky thread.

Thanks for the feedback. I've never really needed to use a winter tire but I really like the price and tread pattern of these specific tires.

Well I done some research on other forums and notice that it's not smart to run a winter tire during the summer. Didn't really know that before but know I do. It's crazy what a couple minutes on the web can do for ya. :)

You can run winters in summer if you want some mad grip but only want to get 5000 miles on a set:)
