Humpherys Peak Done!

My friend John (HS teacher) myself and one of John's students hiked to the summit of Humphreys Peak a couple weeks ago. Humphreys is the highest peak in Arizona and the trail starts at 9600ft. and ends at 12,633ft. It isn't a long trail at a little over 9.5 miles round trip (it took us five hours to complete) but the alpine tundra and the view from the peak are great! Here are a few pic's.

Sweet!

That's a fun, but challenging trail once past 11,500'. The views are awesome from the top!

Hey Chuck!

Doing real well - nine weeks past surgery, and I'm back to riding the MT Bike 3 or 4 miles a couple times a week. No joint pain, just left over soreness from the surgical trama.
